Early 2018
Our Humble Beginnings
From an evening discussion at a modest Acehnese coffee and noodle stall in the Southern part of Jakarta, our founders came into the idea of applying AI and Machine Learning to the court decisions. Their past exposures in the judicial reform projects helped them to get immediate tractions regarding access to the various legal documents. Both are computer scientist by training too, it's easy to reach the same wavelength.

The Baby was Born
After some experiments in the lab, getting the data from various jurisdictions, and doing some pilot tests, the baby was born! We want him to fly as high as possible (well every parents have such a dream, didn't they?). And to be honest, the "fathers" didn't know what's the appropriate name for their baby at that time :D

First Real-Life Assignment
The baby started to make some noises. He was tasked to help a well-known legal reform project to analysed some family law related court decisions (ps: some = 500.000+ court documents :D). It took almost two months to train HaRoL. It paid off, he analyse the documents in minutes and uncover some interesting insights.

The Next Phase
We knew that the baby is now ready for public showcase. He is bit shy before, it took times to build his confidence. We decided to name him HaRoL (hey, he deserved a brand!).
